وصل إلى جريدة الفرقان بيان صادر عن المجلس الإسلامي في مدينة وندسور جاء فيه:
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
رمضان مبارك لجميع أفراد المجتمع ،
أكد مجلس أئمة وندسور ، أن أول أيام شهر رمضان هو يوم الخميس الموافق 23 مارس 2023 ، وبذلك تكون أول ليلة لتأدية صلاة التراويح مساء الأربعاء 22 مارس 2023.
تقام صلاة التراويح في الأماكن التالية:
جمعية وندسور الإسلامية
مسجد ومدرسة الهجرة
المركز الاسلامي روز سيتي
مسجد نور الإسلام
مصلى غرب وندسور
مسجد البر

مجلس الأئمة يتبع أسلوب الحسابات الفلكية العلمية بشرط إمكانية رؤية القمر.

Ramadan 1444 AH / 2023 Announcement
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh
Ramadan Mubarak to all the members of our community,
The Imams’ Council of Windsor has confirmed that the first day of the holy month of Ramadan will be on Thursday, March 23, 2023. Therefore, the first night of Taraweeh prayer will be on Wednesday night, March 22, 2023.
Taraweeh Prayers are being held including but not limited to the following locations:
Windsor Islamic Association-1320 Northwood St.
Alhijra Mosque and School- 5100 Howard Ave.
Rose City Islamic Center- 5420 Empress St.
Masjid Noor-Ul-Islam- 659 Lincoln Road
West Windsor Musallah- 3324 Bloomfield
Masjid Al-Ber-65 Elis St. E, N8X 3L2

Criteria of Deciding the Beginning and ending of Ramadan
The Imams’ Council is following the method of scientific astronomical calculations with the condition of the possibility of moonsighting.
